WATCH: Crowd Chants ‘Genocide…

Supporters of former President Donald Trump erupted into chants of “genocide Joe” in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania on Saturday night.

Trump addressed a massive crowd of supporters in the key swing state just hours after the Iranian government launched a drone and missile attack on Israeli territory. The Iranian government said it launched the attack in response to Israel’s strike on its consulate in Syria and added that the military action is concluded for the time being.

Israel has vowed to strike back, though President Biden has reportedly informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the U.S. will not be participating in any offensive operations against Iran.

In Schnecksville, Trump was greeted to enthusiastic chants of “we love Trump” and “USA” as he took the stage amidst the uncertainty. President Biden did not address the nation on Saturday, as his team called a press lid shortly after 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

Trump supporters also erupted into chants of “genocide Joe,” a moniker generally applied by pro-Palestine protesters and critics of the president’s foreign policy. Trump took a step back from the podium as the crowd chanted, eventually saying “they’re not wrong.”

Trump also issued support to the people of Israel. “Before going any further I want to say god bless the people of Israel, they’re under attack right now. That’s because we’ve shown great weakness,” Trump said.

“We send our absolute support to everyone in harm’s way. This is an attack that would not have happened – I mean to think about what we have to go through and the things we put up with,” he continued. “But we will return the world to peace through strength,” Trump went on to say, adding that the nation as “respected all over the world four years ago and today we are a joke.”
