Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign manager is warning supporters the upcoming general election will “come down to the wire” and many of the critical swing states “are functionally tied.”

On Saturday, the Hill published excerpts of a memo that Jennifer O’Malley Dillon, the Democrat nominee’s campaign manager, sent to supporters and activists urging them not to take Biden’s lead in the polls as an assurance of victory.

“We cannot become complacent because the very searing truth is that Donald Trump can still win this race, and every indication we have shows that this thing is going to come down to the wire,” Dillon wrote, adding Democrats did not want to repeat the mistakes of 2016 when turnout dropped because polls inaccurately showed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton winning in a landslide.

O’Malley Dillon further cautioned supporters in the key 2020 battlegrounds the “race is far closer than some of the punditry we’re seeing on Twitter and on TV would suggest.”

“While we see robust leads at the national level, in the states we’re counting on to carry us to victory like Arizona and North Carolina we’re only up by three points.” she wrote. “We also know that even the best polling can be wrong, and that variables like turnout mean that in a number of critical states we are functionally tied — and that we need to campaign like we’re trailing.”

O’Malley Dillon’s suggestion the race is “far closer” than many believe comes only days after she took to social media to implore supporters and volunteers to ignore polls and continue investing time and resources in the race.

While some have suggested the Biden campaign is simply attempting to keep voters energized until Election Day, there are also some indicators that the presidential contest is tightening.

Polls in recent days have shown Biden leading the incumbent, President Donald Trump, by narrow margins in states like Arizona and Wisconsin. Meanwhile, in states like North Carolina and Florida, polls show the race tied.

Compounding problems for Democrats is that GOP voter registration has narrowed the voter registration gap in numerous swing states.

In Pennsylvania, which Trump won narrowly four years ago, the GOP has seen its support grow substantially. According to a voter registration report released in June by Pennsylvania’s Department of State, Republicans added 258,705 new registrants between December 2015 and December 2019. Over the same period, in comparison, Democrats only gained 85,779 new registrants.

The GOP’s success has narrowed the Democrats’ voter advantage in Pennsylvania to just slightly more than 710,000 voters. Although that split seems large, Democrats had an even larger registration advantage in 2016 when Trump bested former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the state by just 44,292 votes out of more than six million ballots. Trump’s margin of victory, narrow though it was, made him the first Republican to carry Pennsylvania since President George H.W. Bush’s 1988 landslide.

Recent polls show the GOP’s investment in voter registration might be paying off. A survey released by the Trafalgar Group on Tuesday found Trump and Biden statistically tied in the Keystone State.

(breitbart) – The business partner of Hunter Biden who flipped on the Biden family from prison provided access to 26,000 emails, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said in a Saturday morning radio appearance.

Schweizer, appearing on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel, said that former Hunter Biden business partner Bevan Cooney provided 26,000 emails to him—the first of which were published late last week in a Breitbart News exclusive investigation by Schweizer and author Seamus Bruner. Cooney is currently serving a sentence in federal prison due to his conviction over financial deals he made connected to Hunter Biden and his other partner Devon Archer. Archer, who was also convicted by a jury in federal court, saw his conviction vacated by a federal judge. That conviction was later—just a couple weeks ago—reinstated by an appellate court, which overruled the lower court judge’s decision to vacate it. Archer awaits sentencing.

In the meantime, however, Cooney—who is serving his sentence in federal prison—reached out to Schweizer via conservative journalist Matthew Tyrmand and provided written authorization to access his Gmail account. He provided the password and username, and written authorization to publish emails because Schweizer says he believes he was the “fall guy” for the Biden family’s corruption and that he believes the public needs to know what really happened in Hunter Biden’s universe. The first article on these emails was published Friday afternoon, and detailed how Hunter Biden and his partners secured meetings with senior White House officials in November 2011 for Chinese Communist elites—including, as the Chinese elites who were present revealed, a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden himself. The Biden campaign has not responded to requests for comment about this from Breitbart News.

“Bevan Cooney was business partners with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer,” Schweizer said on Breitbart News Saturday. “He was a nightclub owner—he owns the Viper Room in Los Angeles, and got involved in these financial deals. He ended up going to jail and really feels that he was the fall guy. Devon Archer is now going to be going to jail as well, because of the same deals, but he [Cooney] really feels like Hunter Biden was able to walk off scot-free. He had reached out to me in 2019 after my book Secret Empires came out in 2018. He talked about sharing his emails, but it never happened. He ended up going to jail. He recently reached out through Matt Tyrmand, a journalist, and said I want to give you access to all of my emails in my Gmail account. He gave us written approval to do that, and gave us the password. We have been going through the 26,000 emails. The article that we ran on Breitbart, about China, Inc., is the first of what are going to be several. In this particular story what we lay out is how Hunter Biden and his business partners set up a meeting for this group called the China Entrepreneurs Club. Don’t let that benign name fool you; this is regarded as joined at the hip with the Chinese communist government. This China Entrepreneurs Club wanted meeting at the highest levels of the White House and Hunter Biden arranged them. What’s very curious about this is not only that they got these meetings on November 14, 2011, but they actually, according to members, had a private, secret meeting with Joe Biden himself. We don’t know about this because it appeared on the White House visitors logs or the White House calendar—it doesn’t. We know about it because the Chinese that were on that trip bragged about it in their blog posts back in China that they had this private, secret meeting with Joe Biden. Out of that sprang relationships and business deals that Hunter Biden and his business partners were apparently able to take advantage of, so it demonstrates how this access, with the participation of Joe Biden, translated into commercial deals down the road.”

Schweizer said this first round of emails published late last week—only a handful of the 26,000 obtained—is just the beginning. There are more, he said, including ones that further illustrate the relationship between Hunter Biden and the ex-wife of the former Moscow mayor Yelene Baturina—a payment from her to Hunter Biden was a major revelation in a recent U.S. Senate report on the Biden family corruption—as well as a clearer, more vivid description of just how the Bidens worked to develop a system to use Joe Biden’s position in government to enrich themselves.

“The emails, there are different types of emails,” Schweizer said. “Many of the emails are the business partners discussing, without Hunter’s participation, what Hunter’s role is in all of this. What’s very clear, and we will have reporting on this at Breitbart, what’s very clear is Hunter brings no money to the table. But he is considered the avenue to the administration. There are emails that talk about how they are going to do business deals where they want to get union pension money and that Hunter is going to leverage the relationships that his dad has with public employee unions to get that money. So part of it is just kind of a feel for what is the Biden business model, and we kind of knew this in a way but here it’s very explicit that it is trading off the Biden name, the Biden connections, and the Biden access. The other way I would categorize this is geographical. The one we have already broke was a story related to China. There are other emails involving China. The private equity deal—the billion and a half dollar private equity deal—that we’ve reported on. There are emails concerning that, which we will bring out which are quite interesting. There are ones that pertain to Yelena Baturina, she’s the Moscow mayor’s ex-wife who we should add the U.S. State Department has implicated as being tied with Russian organized crime. We’re going to be able to show that that relationship is much deeper and much longer than previously known and that Hunter Biden and his business partners performed various services for her in terms of deals in the United States. And then there are other geographical areas covered. There are deals involving Kazakhstan. There are deals in other parts of the world. There are references to Hunter Biden’s dealings in the Middle East. So there’s quite a bit of material there—26,000 emails, some of them obviously are personal. We’re not going to disclose anything that is personal. It’s all going to be business-related, but we’ll be rolling it out in the days ahead.”

That “underbelly” of how the Biden family—Schweizer calls them the “Biden Five,” whereas President Donald Trump calls them the “Biden Crime Family”—operates is further exposed in these emails from Hunter Biden’s flipped former partner Bevan Cooney.

“What you’re really seeing in these emails is the underbelly of how these relationships and corrupt deals happen,” Schweizer said. “There’s no question about that, and that’s one of the things I think people are going to get. They’re going to get an inside look because as we are doing—we did on the first story and we’ll do it on all of them, we’re not just going to be reporting on the emails. We’re actually going to place the emails up so people can read them themselves. To your point, to underline your point, yes these are totally separate from the New York Post emails. I don’t have access and have not had access to those emails and what we are dealing with in our case is—you’re exactly 100 percent right. These are not printouts, these are not PDFs—we actually go into the Gmail account and pull the emails out and download them. They are timestamped. These are real. These are genuine. That’s one of the reasons we felt it was so important to pursue this. Cooney is taking a risk because he’s trusting us with this trove of emails which includes personal information. So he’s taking quite a risk in sharing this information but he feels like it needs to get out because people need to understand how these deals were done.”

( breitbart ) – Former President Barack Obama is expected to hit the physical campaign trail for Joe Biden (D) next week, according to the campaign.

Obama is expected to help Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) in their final push as Election Day swiftly approaches, delivering a speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 21. His scheduled appearance in the battleground state follows recent polls showing President Trump and Biden neck and neck in the Keystone State.

The former president was one of the last high-profile Democrats to formally back Biden. Only after Biden remained as the last man standing in the Democrat primary race did Obama offer his endorsement.

“Our country’s future hangs on this election. And it won’t be easy. The other side has a massive war chest. The other side has a propaganda network with little regard for the truth,” he said in his endorsement, which did not come until April — after Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) formally dropped out of the race.

“On the other hand, pandemics have a way of cutting through a lot of noise and spin to remind us of what is real, and what is important. This crisis has reminded us that government matters,” he added.

Since then, both Barack and Michelle Obama have been more active and outspoken throughout the presidential race. Earlier this month, Michelle offered a closing argument on behalf of Biden, telling viewers that “our country is in chaos because of a president who isn’t up to the job” and whose allies are “stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans.” She has also teamed up with celebrities to push voting by mail:

(breitbart) – President Donald Trump on Friday announced a deal between his administration, CVS, and Walgreens to distribute free coronavirus vaccines to nursing homes and long-term care facilities for seniors.

“I’m thrilled to announce that we have just finalized a partnership with CVS and Walgreens,” Trump said at an event in Florida. “Two places you know pretty well, I guess.”

The vaccine will be available for residents in all long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential care homes.

“You devoted yourself to this country and I am devoting my life to you,” Trump said in an event highlighting his commitments to America’s seniors.

CVS and Walgreens will coordinate the delivery of the vaccine and administration of the shots to each facility, according to a release from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Trump said he would continue focusing his administration’s efforts on protecting high-risk patients and seniors during the pandemic while allowing younger Americans to go back to work and school.

“So whether you’re Republican or Democrat we must use facts over fear. We have to. Science over hysteria, hope over despair, and the common good over partisan politics,” he said.

Trump criticized Democrats and corporate media for fueling panic and fear in the country.

“Their plan to delay the vaccine, delay therapies, and prolong the pandemic will cost thousands and thousands of lives,” he warned. “It will be horrifying for our country,”

He urged seniors to remain protected in their home if that’s where they felt safe and promised to end the pandemic as soon as possible.

“Don’t listen to the cynics and angry partisans and professional pessimists, we are Americans and we will prevail. We are prevailing,” he said.

(breitbart) – An adviser to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma suggested in an email in 2015 that Hunter Biden was expected to provide “deliverables” for the company, including the “ultimate purpose” of stopping “cases/pursuits into the company’s founder.

The email, contained in a batch published by Ken LaCorte at the Media Action Network, is reportedly from the same laptop that the New York Post claims is the source for source for a recent series of articles about Hunter Biden’s business dealings. The authenticity of the emails has not been verified.

The batch includes an email in November 2015 from Burisma adviser Vadim Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden’s business partners (on which Hunter Biden was cc’ed), outlining a set of “deliverables.”

The emails make clear that Biden and his partners were expected to arrange meetings with U.S. and Ukrainian officials with the goal of “improving Nikolay’s case and his situation in Ukraine.”

“Nikolay” appears to refer to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, according to the Post.

Pozharskyi wrote that the “list of deliverables” included “the ultimate purpose” of stopping “cases/pursuits against Nikolay”:

My only concern is focus to be on the same page re our final goals. With this in mind, I would like to formulate a list of deliverables, including, but not limited to: a concrete course of actions, uncle. meetings/communications resulting in high-ranking US officials in Ukraine (US Ambassador) and in US publicly or in private communication/comment expressing their “positive opinion” and support of Nikolay/Burisma to the highest level of decision makers here in Ukraine :President of Ukraine, president Chief of staff, Prosecutor General, etc

The scope of work should also include organization of a visit of widely recognized and influential current and/or former US policy-makers to Ukraine in November aiming to conduct meetings with and bring positive signal/message and support on Nikolay’s issue to the Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down for any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine.

Other emails in the trove show a keen awareness of Hunter Biden’s relationship to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, who was leading U.S. diplomacy with regard to Ukraine.

In May 2014, Pozharksyi wrote to Hunter Biden and Archer explaining that Burisma was under pressure from the Ukrainian government. He claimed that government officials, seeking cash, had decided to pressure the company by launching investigations that could result in the company losing its energy licenses or its business partners.

He added:”We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions”.

Another May 2014 email from Heather King, a partner at the Boies, Schiller & Flexner law firm, to Pozharskyi — on which Hunter Biden and Archer were cc’ed — proposed creating a “bullet-proof vest” for Burisma, including relationships with U.S. government officials.

Another email, dated May 13, 2014, reported that Vice President Biden’s counsel called Hunter Biden’s business partners to ask that they tell Burisma to take down a photograph of Devon Hunter and Joe Biden that appeared on Burisma’s website.

That was the same day reporters asked the White House and State Department about Hunter Biden’s relationship with Burisma. (Joe Biden has claimed that he was not informed about potential conflicts of interest posed by his son’s work for Burisma.)

In 2018, former Vice President Joe Biden boasted that he had threatened Ukraine with the loss of $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees — in the middle of a war with Russia — if the country did not fire its top prosecutor, which it then did.

Former Vice President Biden has also denied having anything to do with his son’s overseas business interests, but the Post revealed that Hunter Biden had arranged a meeting between his father and Pozharskyi in 2015.

Breitbart News reached out to Pozharskyi for comment via email, but received no response.

(breitbart) – The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will investigate newly released emails that revealed Hunter Biden introduced his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, to an executive at Ukrainian gas firm Burisma.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), the chairman of the committee, told Fox News that the committee had contacted the source who provided the emails. The New York Post revealed that Hunter Biden introduced a Burisma executive to Joe Biden less than a year before he lobbied Ukrainian government officials to fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the company.

Johnson said:

We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims. Although we consider those communications to be confidential, because the individual in this instance spoke with the media about his contact with the committee, we can confirm receipt of his email complaint, have been in contact with the whistleblower, and are in the process of validating the information he provided.

One May 2014 email showed Burisma executive Vadym Pzharskyi wrote to Hunter Biden in May 2014 asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” to benefit Burisma, of which Hunter Biden was a member of the board.

Joe Biden also said that he was successful in pressuring Ukraine to fire Shokin, who was investigating the founder of Burisma at the time.

The former vice president said at a 2018 Council on Foreign Relations meetings, “I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”

“Well, son of a bitch. He got fired,” he said.

Despite the Post’s report about Hunter Biden introducing the former vice president to a Ukrainian executive, Biden has claimed that he “never” discussed Hunter Biden’s “overseas business dealings” with his son.

(breitbart) – Former Vice President Joe Biden said during a town hall hosted by ABC News on Thursday night that eight-year-olds should be allowed to decide that they are transgender.

Mieke Hacke, a voter from Pennsylvania, asked Biden the following “question”:

Haeck: I’m the proud mom of two girls, eight and ten. My youngest daughter is transgender. The Trump administration has attacked the rights of transgender people, banning them from military service, weakening nondiscrimination protections, and even removing the word “transgender” from some government websites. How will you, as president, reverse this dangerous and discriminatory agenda and ensure that the lives and rights of LGBTQ people are protected under U.S. law?

Biden: I will flat-out just change the law. Eliminate those executive orders, number one. You may recall, I’m the guy who said — I was raised by a man who, I remember, I was being dropped off, my dad was a high school-educated, well-read man who was a really decent guy, and I was being dropped off to get an application in the center of our city, Wilmington, Delaware, the corporate capital of the world at the time, and these two men are getting out to get an application to be a lifeguard in the African-American community, because there was a big swimming pool complex. And these two men, well-dressed, leaned up and hugged one another and kissed one another. I’m getting out of the car at the light, and I turned to my dad, andmy dad looked at me, he said, Joey, it’s simple. They love each other. The idea that an 8-year-old child, a 10-year-old child, decides, you know, I want to be transgender, that’s what I think I’d like to be, it’d make my life a lot easier — there should be zero discrimination. And what’s happening is, too many transgender women of color are being murdered. They’re being murdered. I mean, I think it’s up to now 17, don’t hold me to that number. But — it’s higher now?

Haeck: Yes.

Biden: And that’s just this year. And so, I promise you, there is no reason to suggest that there should be any right denied your daughter or daughters, whichever, one or two —

Haeck: One.

Biden: — oneyour daughter, that your other daughter has a right to be and do. None. Zero. And by the way, my son, Beau, passed away, was the attorney general of the State of Delaware. he was the guy that got the first transgender law passed in the state of Delaware and because of a young man who became a woman, who worked for him in the attorney general’s office. And I’m proud of that.

Beau Biden, who was the attorney general of Delaware, supported the state’s non-discrimination law, though he did not technically pass it himself.

(breitbart) – A “smoking gun email” obtained by the New York Post shows Joe Biden lied when he said he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

According to an email dated April 17, 2015, Biden, who was then the sitting vice president, met in person with Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma.

Bursima is the sketchy Ukrainian energy company that put Hunter Biden on its board and paid him a reported $50,000 a month — a month! — even though Hunter has no known energy sector experience and doesn’t speak any of the languages spoken in that country.

The date of the email is important. The meeting between Pozharskyi and the then-vice president would have taken place eight months before Biden threatened to withhold U.S. aid from Ukraine unless the country agreed to fire a prosecutor who was looking into Burisma. The prosecutor was fired.

In 2018, Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations about how he got the prosecutor fired.

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

And the investigation into Burisma was shut down.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the smoking gun e-mail from Pozharskyi reads.

This isn’t the first piece of evidence that proves Joe Biden lied when he claimed “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Later last year a photograph was released of Joe Biden on the golf course with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, who sat on Burisma’s board. The photo was taken in April of 2014 when Joe Biden was vice president, and just two years before Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless Ukraine fired the prosecutor looking into a company paying his son $50,000 a month.

Pretty obvious how this works.

And according to Biden himself, that’s exactly what he did. He threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor looking into his own son’s company was fired.

According to the Post, the emails were obtained after someone left a water-damaged MacBook Pro laptop at a computer repair shop. Whoever left it, never paid for the repair or came back to get it.

“The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner,” the Post reports.

Also on the laptop is a “raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.”

The repair shop owner could not confirm the laptop owner was Hunter Biden, but there was a sticker on the laptop from the Beau Biden Foundation. Along with he video are documents and photos that sure make it look like this was Hunter’s laptop.

The FBI seized the laptop in December, but not before the repair shop owner made a copy of the hard drive. He then gave the copy to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Just this week we learned that Joe Biden’s son-in-law Howard Krein is chief medical officer for a firm called StartUp Health, an investment firm looking to invest in products to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, Krein is advising the Biden campaign on the coronavirus, a stunning conflict of interest, so stunning the far-left Politico reported on it.

(breitbart) – Hunter Biden canvassed possible business involvement with a major Chinese firm as he sought deals that would be “interesting for me and my family,” according to a new batch of emails released by the New York Post on Thursday.

The son of the Democratic presidential nominee corresponded with China’s largest private energy provider, CEFC, messages unearthed by the Post from what is alleged to be Hunter’s personal laptop show.

In one missive sent to Hunter in May 2017 titled “Expectations,” details of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business venture were discussed.

He was identified as the “chair/vice chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the now bankrupt Shanghai conglomerate China Energy Co.

Hunter’s pay was “850” and the correspondence also outlined he “has some office expectations he will elaborate.”

The email revelations come barely 24-hours after the Post published other emails that showed Joe Biden lied when he said he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” as Breitbart News reported.

Gas company Burisma’ adviser Vadym Pozharskyi thanked Hunter for “an opportunity to meet your father” in an email sent in 2015, according to the trove of data given to the Post by Rudy Giuliani.

In the latest cache, one email appears to outline a “provisional agreement” where 80 percent of the “equity” would be shared equally among four people whose initials related to Hunter and three other recipients.

James Gilliar sent the email from consulting firm J2cR, saying: “I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is shortfalls?”

Zang appears to be a reference to Zang Jian Jun who was the former executive director of CEFC.

In another 2017 email, Biden reportedly discussed a deal with Ye Jianming, a since-vanished chairman of CEFC.

He also sought to make clear his efforts should not go unrewarded, saying:

“Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn [sic] the equity and profits of the JV’s [joint venture’s] investments.”
