Andy Biggs (R-AZ) reacted to the federal indictment of former President Donald Trump in a tweet Friday, saying that the Republican party has entered a “war phrase.” He went on to reiterate his call for the impeachment of President Joe Biden a day after the release of a bombshell document allegedly linking Joe Biden to a “quid pro quo” bribery scheme involving Ukrainian gas giant Burisma.
“We have now reached a war phase,” Biggs wrote in a tweet Friday. “Eye for an eye.”
He later confirmed that he meant Republicans should respond to the unprecedented indictment by voting to impeach Joe Biden. “The FBI’s FD-1023 form indicates to me that then-VP Joe Biden was involved in an international bribery scheme,” Biggs wrote in a follow-up tweet. “The evidence is already mounting and there is still more to come. Quid pro quo Joe must be impeached.”

The unprecedented 37-count indictment of former President Donald Trump was announced just hours after the FBI finally agreed to turn over a key document relating to an alleged Biden bribery scheme.
After viewing the document, multiple Republican members of the House Oversight Committee have alleged that it contains evidence of a quid pro quo scheme in which Biden was paid $5 million by Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board.
During a press conference on Thursday, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said the activities outlined in the document were “definitely illegal.”
“Reading this form today shows the pure distinction. This information, this source that came forward, it’s a paid informant by the FBI,” she said. “Basically what’s happening there is back in 2015-2016, Burisma was looking to buy a U.S.-based oil and gas company and this came from being advised by Hunter Biden and his partners,” MTG explained.
She also detailed the alleged bribery scheme, stating that Burisma paid $5 million to two members of the Biden family. According to Greene, payments were made in exchange for making sure that Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma, would be fired.
“Donor Burisma said that Hunter was stupid and that his other business partner was smart. He also said that he paid five million to one Biden and he paid five million to another Biden,” she stated.
