Fox News co-host and former judge, Jeanine Pirro, expressed a passionate critique of the charges during her recent broadcast, decrying what she views as a “weaponization” of the Department of Justice, FBI, and CIA.

Among the charges against Trump and his personal valet, Walt Nauta, are several counts of violating federal statutes tied to handling classified documents. Allegations include storing, hiding, and showing classified documents to guests at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, as well as obstruction of justice through non-cooperation with investigators and active concealment of classified documents.
Pirro raised questions about the handling of these documents, pressing for specifics on how many were altered or destroyed. She equated the charges to the controversial Russia collusion investigation, steadfastly insisting that the investigation was a hoax devised by Hillary Clinton to detract from her own email scandal.
However, Pirro’s critique extended beyond the indictment, touching on issues related to alleged FBI misinformation regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop and payments from Ukraine received by Joe and Hunter Biden. The television host claimed that the laptop controversy was falsely presented as Russian disinformation, arguing that the agencies interfered in the presidential election for a second time.
“And we know that Hillary Clinton made it up,” Pirro stated, accusing Clinton of contriving the Russia collusion narrative. Regarding the Hunter Biden laptop saga, she declared, “What you’ve got is a weaponized Department of Justice, Department of FBI, and CIA. They started with a Russia collusion hoax.”
Pirro’s critique reflects a deeply divided response to Trump’s indictment, signaling a broader national debate. She concluded her segment with a warning, stating, “This is a banana republic. When you indict one guy running for president and the guy who’s doing it is some old geezer who says, you know what, I don’t know anything about it.”
